Cell Glow recommends: Do not buy an RLT panel on a promise that cellulite will disappear; the evidence is insufficient. If you choose a Cell Glow panel for broader light sessions or skincare, keep that goal separate from an unproven cellulite claim.
What is cellulite?
Cellulite is a common skin condition with dimples, especially on the thighs and buttocks. It is related to the build-up of connective tissue and subcutaneous fat. It's not a disease. A claim that a light source 'melts away' the skin image' requires long-term, good studies with a comparable device and objective photos or measurements.
What do we know from research?
A review of physical treatments found that the quality of many studies is insufficient to draw clear conclusions. Some positive studies used green lasers or combined light with a gel; that is not evidence for red or near-infrared light alone. Short follow-up makes statements about lasting effect extra uncertain.
What does this mean for a purchase?
Do not buy a large panel solely because of the promise against cellulite. If you're already using it for another purpose, keep expectations modest and take similar photos under the same lighting. If you have any doubts about your skin, ask a dermatologist which options are realistic.
