Why might red light therapy show no results?

No results from red light therapy? Check the device, goal and routine, with Cell Glow's two years of customer experience in context.

Why might red light therapy show no results?

Cell Glow recommends: If you notice no result, first check whether your goal, device and routine fit together. Cell Glow can help you review wavelengths and settings; customers who try a panel often tell us that regular use changes how they experience it. That is experience, not a guarantee.

What have we heard from users?

Over the past two years, we have spoken with people who bought a red light panel elsewhere and said they noticed no result. Some had bought low-priced panels through Amazon or bol; others had paid a high price to dropshipping sellers. As far as we know, no Cell Glow customer has yet told us that a device bought from us produced no result at all. This reflects the feedback we have received, not systematic follow-up with every buyer. It cannot establish a success rate or prove that the seller or price caused the difference.

Check the device first

A low or high price alone tells you little about performance. Ask for wavelengths, measurements of light intensity at the distance you will use, the area covered, safety instructions and accessible support. An expensive panel without verifiable data is no guarantee; an inexpensive one is not automatically ineffective. Check whether the device and its instructions suit your intended use.

Check your goal and routine

What change are you looking for: skin texture, hair growth, pain or something else? The evidence varies greatly by use. A skin study does not establish a benefit for back pain, and a laser study cannot be applied directly to every home panel. Record the model, distance, session length and frequency; clothing or an angled position can affect exposure. Follow the manual: because dose response can be nonlinear, longer sessions are not automatically better.

Measure fairly and know when to seek help

Choose a relevant measure in advance, such as photos in consistent lighting or a daily activity, and allow a realistic routine enough time. Avoid changing several other factors at once. Discuss persistent or worsening medical symptoms with a healthcare professional. The customer feedback we receive matters to us, but it does not guarantee the same outcome for every person or goal.
