Cell Glow recommends: Do not buy a red light device on price or LED count alone. Compare measured intensity at a usable distance, wavelengths, size, controls and service; Cell Glow lets you compare these features across Custom models and ask for advice.
Why do prices differ?
A small mask, handheld device and large panel have different coverage, construction and power supply. Reliable measurements, documentation, adjustability and warranty also cost money. A consumer list under 200 dollars is of little use to a Belgian buyer due to exchange rates, VAT, imports and shipping costs. Therefore, compare the total price in euros and the specific device.
Which specifications have value?
Ask about wavelengths, irradiance at a specified distance, panel coverage, a timer, safety instructions and a seller you can contact. Treat sensational claims of medical cures with caution. A CE marking has meaning within the intended use, but is not proof that every effect of a device mentioned online has been clinically proven.
When does the investment make sense?
Choose a format that you can actually use for your purpose. Do not count on a guaranteed payback period compared to treatments in a practice. Read the return conditions and statutory consumer rights and start with realistic expectations about the evidence.
